Founded in 2021, NAPL is focused on continued Research
and development and specializing in hemp induced
medicine production. With backgrounds ranging from CBD
extraction management, to biology and chemistry of hemp,
our team shares decades of experience, united around a
passion for health, innovation & cure through
holistic qualities of Cannabis
In India, Cannabis has always been
a part of Medicinal and Spiritual Culture. Its
Analgesic use is implied from Atharva Veda dated
back at 2000 BC. The plant extract was mainly used
for pain relief and treating other ailments.
After legal ban by United
Nations in 1961, Cannabis was prohibited and lumped
into the Narcotics Drugs & Psychotropic
Substances Act 1985, with lot of lethal
drugs.
CANNABINOIDS PROFILING & TRACE ANALYSES
Cannabinoids are a group of
compounds present in Cannabis, that can be extracted
from the whole plant except seeds especially the
dried leaves and flowers of Cannabis sativa. These
cannabinoids joins with cannabinoid receptors CB1
& CB2 of endocannabinoid system present in our
body. Cannabis plant produces between 80 and 100
cannabinoids and about 300 non-cannabinoid
chemicals. The two main cannabinoids are
delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol
(CBD). We will be
using CO2 Extraction method for extraction of
CBD(Cannabidiol, CBN(Cannabinol),CBV(Cannabivarin) and other
Cannabinoids along with Terpenes Our in-house
research team is engaged in analysis of
cannabinoids, making full spectrum profile of all
types of matrices related to hemp products. With our
latest technology we can detect ultra-low
concentration of Cannabinoids & can make hybrids
as per government norms for THC
concentration.
There is substantial research that cannabis or
cannabinoids are effective:
For
the treatment of chronic pain in
adults
As
antiemetics in the treatment of
chemotherapy-induced nausea and
vomiting
Improving
symptoms of posttraumatic stress
disorder
Better
outcomes after a traumatic brain
injury or intracranial
hemorrhage
Increasing
appetite and decreasing weight
loss associated with
HIV/AIDS
Improving
symptoms associated with
dementia
Improving
intraocular pressure associated
with glaucoma
Cancers,
Dystonia, Epilepsy
Motor
system symptoms associated with
Parkinson’s disease
CBD
Cannabidiol Neutral,
non-psychoactive cannabinoid, product of decarboxylation
of CBDA, a common cannabinoid in most hemp plants.
CBDA
Cannabidiolic Acid Acidic,
non-psychoactive cannabinoid biosynthesized in glandular
trichomes, decarboxylates to CBD.
THC
Tetrahydrocannabinol Neutral
psychoactive cannabinoid, product of decarboxylation of
THCA, abundant in several cannabis strains.
THCA
Tetrahydocannabinolic Acid Acidic,
non-psychoactive cannabinoid biosynthesized in glandular
trichomes, decarboxylates to THC.
CBDV
Cannabidivarin Neutral,
non-psychoactive homologue of CBD, usually found in
small amounts.
THCV
Tetrahydrocannabivarin
Acidic Neutral, non-psychoactive
homologue of THC, usually found in small amounts.
CBG
Cannabigerol Neutral
non-psychoactive cannabinoid, product of decarboxylation
of CBGA, abundant in some strains.
CBGA
Cannabigerolic acid Acidic,
non-psychoactive cannabinoid biosynthesized in glandular
trichomes, precursor to other natural cannabinoids,
decarboxylates to CBG.
CBN
Cannabinol Neutral,
non-psychoactive cannabinoid, usually found in small
amounts, product of degradation of THC.
CBC
Cannabichromene Neutral,
non-psychoactive cannabinoid, usually found in small
amounts.
8-THC
8-THC Neutral psychoactive
cannabinoid, a naturally occurring cannabinoid in
cannabis. It’s an isomer of both cannabidiol and
delta-9-THC.
CBL
CBL Neutral, non-psychoactive
cannabinnoid, usually found in small amounts, product of
degradation of CBC.
